45 minutes direct therapy
One to one clinical time with your child, focused on their individual communication goals.
15 minutes clinical work
Clinical documentation, progress tracking and therapy planning are completed as part of every appointment.
CORU registered clinicians. Therapy is delivered by professionally registered speech and language therapists working to the standards of the profession.

Assessment pricing reflects the additional clinical time required for formal assessment, analysis, interpretation and reporting.
Two 60 minute clinical appointments plus a written report.
Three 60 minute clinical appointments plus a written report for more complex presentations.
AAC support is provided through therapy
We are not currently offering formal AAC assessment. Our AAC trained therapists can support AAC implementation, communication development, family coaching and therapy for children who already use or are being considered for AAC.
Tax relief may be available
Speech and language therapy for a qualifying child can qualify for health expense tax relief. Eligibility depends on Revenue's rules and your circumstances.

Eligible plans may contribute towards speech and language therapy. Benefits vary by plan, so please confirm your cover directly with your insurer.

Questions parents ask
Why is the appointment 60 minutes but only 45 minutes of direct therapy?+
A standard appointment is 60 minutes in total. This includes 45 minutes of direct clinical work with your child and 15 minutes for clinical documentation, progress notes and planning.
Do you offer therapy packages?+
Yes. We offer six-session and twelve-session packages for families who prefer to plan therapy in blocks. We will discuss the most appropriate frequency and package with you based on your child's needs.
How often will my child need therapy?+
Many children begin with weekly therapy for an initial period of around 8–12 weeks, followed by a review. Frequency varies according to your child's goals, needs and response to therapy.
What are the assessment fees?+
Our core assessment is €450 and an extended or complex assessment is €595. We do not currently offer formal AAC assessment as a Spark Speech service.
Can AAC be part of therapy?+
Yes. Our team is AAC-trained and can provide AAC implementation, communication support, family coaching and AAC-informed therapy for children who already use or are being considered for AAC. Formal AAC assessment is not currently offered.
Can I claim speech and language therapy through my health insurance?+
Eligible private health insurance policies may provide benefits towards speech and language therapy. Cover varies by insurer and plan, so families should confirm their individual benefits directly with their insurer.

What is the cancellation policy?+
We ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or rearrange an appointment. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice are charged at €55, while same-day cancellations and non-attendance are charged at the full €120 appointment fee.
